What fun we had on Colonial Day! We began our day with the school bell. Each child then made their manners to the teacher. Boys sat on one side of the room and girls on the other. We read from primers, wrote with quill pens, had a math relay, played alphabet geography, and ended our day with a spelling bee! We ate lunch outside on picnic blankets and played colonial games.
