We finished the Night Sky unit with the creation of teaching posters on the the 8,(9), planets. The class really wanted to include Pluto, now considered a dwarf planet, so we did. Each poster needed to include 5 important facts, at least two pictures, and be presented to classmates using a strong, clear voice. After we finished the planets, we studied the stars, constellations, some moon and star myths, and learned how to use a star finder chart. Check out our posters below.
